James is the CEO and Founder of The Table Club. James set up The Table Club in 2008 alongside a core group of Sydney-based family offices who wanted to have a means to meet and invest with other family offices in different areas and with different backgrounds. It is now truly international and James’ work has developed accordingly. Before founding The Table Club, James worked with a number of family offices on their investment committees. Prior to that, James founded and successfully built and sold Rainmaker Information Services. James began his career working in institutional business development as Director of Business Development at Colonial First State Global Asset Management and as an Associate Director at Rothschild Asset Management. James has a Bachelor of Economics and Accounting from Sydney University, as well as an ACA from ICAA, and a Diploma in Securities and Investments from SIA.
Phoebe Schettini is Director of The Table Club, having been with the company since its inception. She looks after the organisational aspect of The Table Club, managing the events that form the backbone of its ever-growing network.
Debbie is Managing Director of Asia for The Table Club. Debbie joined The Table Club in 2016 to grow our Asian table, especially in regards to China and Hong Kong. Debbie is also a Director for Transpacific Group, an industrial business house with business interests of financial services, plantations, properties and bio-fuel and energy. Debbie has previously worked as a Director in both an Investment and Business Development capacity for one of Asia’s largest luxury private hotel groups. Prior to that, Debbie worked in marketing and brand management for a number of consumer goods companies, including as Marketing Manager for Burt’s Bees, Brand Manager for Clorox, and Associate Brand Manager for Pepperidge Farm. Debbie has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was President of her Section, and a BA in Economics from Stanford. Debbie has also worked with volunteer and charitable organizations, including Oxfam, the Epoch Foundation, and the Aspen Institute.
Sam is an Associate and European Representative of The Table Club. Having joined the firm in 2012 after studying Chemistry at the University of Sydney, he has been responsible for our research and technology activities. After working full-time for The Table Club for 2 years, he is now studying Law at the University of Oxford whilst continuing to work part-time maintaining our European table.
Henry is an Investment Analyst at The Table Club, having joined in 2016. Henry has been involved in analysing the investment opportunities that are presented to The Table Club, in addition to supporting its technological needs. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Computer Science. He previously worked part-time as a Research Associate for CoreData, a global market research company.
Harry is an Investment Analyst at The Table Club, having joined in 2017. Harry has been involved in analysing the investment opportunities that are presented to The Table Club. He is currently studying a dual Bachelor of Law and Economics at the University of Sydney.
